๐ŸŒŸ Our Philosophy: Growing Through Play

At [League Name], the Tee Ball division is about more than just home runsโ€”itโ€™s about building a foundation for a lifetime of healthy activity and sportsmanship. We focus on three core pillars to ensure every child has a "major league" experience.

โšพ 1. Fundamentals First (The "How-To")

Before they can hit a grand slam, they need to know which way to run! We prioritize teaching the basic mechanics of baseball in a way that feels like play.

  • Skill Building: Learning how to hold a bat, throw a ball, and catch with a glove.

  • Game Logic: Understanding what "bases" are and where to go when the ball is hit.

  • Coordination: Improving gross motor skills through running, swinging, and throwing.

๐Ÿค 2. Small Teams, Big Engagement

We donโ€™t believe in kids standing around in the outfield picking daisies. To keep every player active and focused, we keep our rosters small (typically 6 to 8 players per team).

  • Constant Action: Smaller teams mean more turns at bat and more chances to field the ball.

  • Personalized Coaching: Fewer kids per team allows our volunteer coaches to give each player the one-on-one attention they deserve.

  • Bonding: Itโ€™s easier for 5-year-olds to make friends when they are part of a small, tight-knit group.

๐Ÿƒ 3. Exercise & Healthy Habits

Tee Ball is often a childโ€™s first "organized" exercise. We make sure they stay moving from the moment they arrive at the field.

  • Active Practices: Our drills are designed to keep heart rates up and energy high.

  • Teamwork: Learning to cheer for teammates and work together toward a common goal.

  • Confidence: There is no better feeling for a child than the "I did it!" moment when they finally hit the ball off the tee.
